On 28 October 2026, Semmelweis Professor Doris Wilflingseder gave a talk entitled “Infections in a Dish: Innate Defense to Respiratory Viruses in Species-Specific Airway Models” as part of the Semmelweis Seminar Series. She provided insights into how advanced airway models can help us better understand innate immune responses to respiratory viruses and explore new approaches to preventing and treating respiratory infections.
The seminar was hosted by Alina Tscherne, a postdoctoral researcher in the Krammer Lab.
