Prof. Florian Krammer, Director of the Ignaz Semmelweis Institute, visited the research group of Prof. Helmut Salzer in Linz.
The program included visits to the Kepler University Hospital and the Medical Faculty of Johannes Kepler University (JKU). During an infectiology ward round, patients with malaria and tuberculosis were seen.
In addition, Prof. Krammer was given a tour of the Center for Medical Research by Prof. Bernhard David, followed by a personal exchange with Vice-Rector Elgin Drda.
On the evening before, a joint dinner provided the opportunity to exchange with Prof. Krammer.
