Florian Krammer Elected to the Prestigious NAI Fellows Class of 2025

Prof. Florian Krammer has been elected to the National Academy of Inventors (NAI) Fellows Class of 2025, an honor that recognizes exceptional contributions to invention, innovation, and the translation of research into societal impact. This election reflects not only his personal accomplishments but also his dedication to advancing technology and fostering innovation for the benefit of society.

The 2025 class recognizes 169 distinguished academic and institutional inventors from the United States, along with 16 international Fellows. Collectively, the Fellows represent 127 universities, government agencies, and research institutions across 40 U.S. states.

Together, the 2025 Fellows hold more than 5,300 U.S. patents and include recipients of the Nobel Prize, the National Medals of Science and Technology & Innovation, and members of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, among others.

The 2025 Class of Fellows will be formally honored and presented with their medals by Dr. Paul R. Sanberg, FNAI, President of the National Academy of Inventors, together with a senior official of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) at the NAI 15th Annual Conference on 4 June 2026, taking place in Los Angeles, California.
