How Research Protects Lives: Florian Krammer in Voitsberg

On 10 July 2026, Semmelweis Professor Florian Krammer gave a lecture at the Stadtsรคle Voitsberg entitled โ€œHow Research Protects Lives.โ€

The event attracted considerable interest: around 160 attendees followed the lecture attentively and gained insights into the journey from laboratory research to the approval of a vaccine, as well as into the importance of virus and vaccine research for protecting human health.

After the lecture, the audience had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss viruses, vaccines, and current developments in research with Florian Krammer. The lively participation highlighted the strong public interest in these topics.
